Phillip Scheinberg

Formado pela Universidade de Santo Amaro (UNISA), Phillip Scheinberg é especialista em Hematologia e Oncologia pelo National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Bethesda, MD – EUA. É autor de mais de 70 artigos científicos, escreveu mais de 100 capítulos de livros e tem 2 livros publicados no Brasil e no mundo. Foi membro do Staff no Hematology Branch, onde conduziu pesquisas clínica e laboratorial nas áreas de falência medular, transplante de medula óssea e imunidade celular entre antígenos tumorais, alogênicos e virais. Atualmente é chefe da Hematologia Clínica do Centro de Oncologia da BP – A Beneficência Portuguesa de São Paulo e "Fellow" do American College of Physicians.

A graduate of Universidade de Santo Amaro (UNISA), Phillip Scheinberg specialized in Hematology and Oncology at the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Bethesda, MD, USA. He has authored more than 70 scientific articles and over 100 book chapters, and has published 2 books in Brazil and abroad. He was a staff member of the Hematology Branch, where he conducted clinical and laboratory research in bone marrow failure, bone marrow transplantation and cellular immunity against tumor, allogeneic and viral antigens. He is currently Head of Clinical Hematology at the Oncology Center of BP – A Beneficência Portuguesa de São Paulo and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.

Alvaro Alencar

Formado em medicina pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (PUC), Alvaro Alencar é hematologista, oncologista e professor associado de medicina clínica na seção de linfoma da divisão de hematologia da University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Membro do programa de biologia tumoral do Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center e do Comitê de Linfoma da Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology. Diretor médico associado do UHealth, o sistema de saúde da Universidade de Miami, e atua como diretor médico da University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.

A medical graduate of Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (PUC), Alvaro Alencar is a hematologist, oncologist and Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Lymphoma Section of the Division of Hematology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He is a member of the Tumor Biology Program at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and of the Lymphoma Committee of the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology. He is Associate Chief Medical Officer of UHealth, the University of Miami Health System, and serves as Medical Director of the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
